BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / PROCUREMENT

Co-ordination of all Procurement activities: - Sourcing of materials, equipment, tools and instruments for various projects in our Operations.

Drawing up materials specification for jobs to be done, drawing up technical procedures for the execution of the jobs.

Preparation of contract documents-Tender/Bid, Quotations, Bills of materials, Bill of Quantities, etc and managing the general process of tendering for contracts from our Clients in the oil industry.

Attending meetings with the Heads of Contracts, Maintenance and Engineering Departments of

Major Oil/Gas Industries to discuss and negotiate for contracts.

Preparation of Technical Specifications of materials and equipment for foreign procurements.

Estimation of cost of material for all projects

Establishes the procurement procedures to be used on the project.

Plans the procurement effort to support the project, both in the purchasing, expediting and inspection of project materials and consumables and in support of continuous field operations

and commissioning.

Manages all procurement activities including the interfaces with company’s local purchasing in Port Harcourt and with the Logistics department in packaging, shipping, customs clearance

and importation of all materials into Nigeria.

Establishes a material control system and tracks all from orders from inquiry through delivery to the field warehouse, issues regular report on progress and status of procurement activities, and take action to resolve any performance issue or risks noted.
