Objectives

To obtain a Lab Technician position to use skills involving organization, attention to details and communication as well as to utilize my knowledge and experience.

Education

Since 2016, I took general microbiology, medical microbiology, biochemistry, cellular and molecular microbiology, immunology and hematology classes in order to get Clinical Lab Scientist license.

1995 - 2000 Sumy State University named after A.S. Makarenko (Ukraine) graduated with BS in Biology and Chemistry.

1991 - 1994 Sumy State Medical School (Ukraine) majored in laboratory diagnostics and was qualified as a laboratory technician. I was able to work in environmental laboratory (research of air, water and soil); in microbiological laboratory; histological laboratory and clinical laboratory.

Experience

09/2000 to 06/2004 Laboratory scientist in microbiological laboratory. While working as a lab scientist I was responsible for cultivation, isolation, inoculation as well as identification of infectious agents by examining physiological, morphological, biochemical and cultural growth characteristics. In addition to that I performed various susceptibility testing on bacterial isolates.

07/1994 to 09/1998 histology laboratory assistant to the doctors in the department of Pathological Anatomy in Sumy State Medical University. My duties included assemble slides for staining and blocks for sectioning, prepare specimen sectioning request forms and collecting sectioning data.

Skills

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented with good analytical and time management skills.
