Occupational Objective: Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer
Occupational Experiences:
Flex(Multek) March 2017 - Present
CAD/CAM Senior Printed Circuit Designer: Designing both ridged and flex boards. Layout of PC Boards for new products, routing, editing and checking final designs. Working with all of different types of flex board materials-Stiffeners, LPI and cover layer finishes particular to flex boards and their constraints. Working with DDR2, DDR3, HDMI and other high-speed routing.
Librarian: Duties involve the design of complex components. These ranged from BGA's to mechanical parts. (Altium17.1.9 and Cadence Allegro 17.2 and Solidworks)
Flex designs and manufactures for all kinds of customers who provide data in different CAD packages. I am proficient in both Allegro, Altium and Solidworks.
Square Inc. January 2014 – March 2017
CAD/CAM Senior Printed Circuit Designer: Designing both ridged and flex boards. Layout of PC Boards for new products, routing, editing and checking final designs. Responsible for setting up all design rules for all PC boards within the company. Working with the constants of different types of flex board materials-Stiffeners, LPI and cover layer finishes to flex boards and their constraints. Working with differential pairs and RF circuits.
Librarian: Duties involve the design of complex components. These ranged from BGA's to mechanical parts. Verifying the previous creation of components for accuracy.
(Altium 14.3 and Solidworks)
For more than three years I was the only PCB Designer at Square. The Square Reader that plugs into your iPhone, which reads both magnetic and chip cards, I drew it. The Square Touch Reader that reads any smart phone, I drew it. I worked in Altium.
Apple Inc., 1 Infinite Loop, MS 35-2MP, Cupertino, CA, 95126
August 2011 – January 2014
CAD/CAM Senior Printed Circuit Designer: Designing both flex and ridged boards. Layout of PC Boards for new products, routing, editing and checking final designs (up to 14 layers, blind and buried vias). Complex boards involving high speed routing and deferential pairs. Particularly worked on flex boards. Workings with the constraints of different types of flex board materials – Stiffeners, LPI and cover layer finishes to flex boards. I worked in Allegro. Working with DDR2, DDR3, HDMI and other high-speed routing.
