• Tactical Law Enforcement Instructor and Direct Action Team NCO with specialized experience in Counter Terrorism, Counter Narcotics, Anti-Piracy Operations, Hostage Rescue, Executive Protection and Advanced Interdiction. • Exemplary actions during 10 Narco-Terrorism deployments in South and Central America, resulted in the seizure of over 6 tons of illegal drugs and the arrest of 30 narcotic traffickers. • Requested to support dozens of executive protection movements for high value dignitaries, athletes, musicians, and federal law enforcement officers throughout the Miami region. • LEDET 402 lead medic responsible for organizing and advising training exercises for over 500 DHS, DOD and Allied personnel in specialized skills to include, defensive tactics (i.e. baton, pepper spray, strikes, etc), advanced interdiction techniques, surveillance operations, tactical emergency medicine, advanced marksmanship, close quarters battle, and law enforcement Use of Force tactics. • Performed lifesaving interventions as a combat medic for patients suffering from severe fractures, penetrating chest trauma, burns, heat stroke and cardiac emergencies. • Engaged in 12, week-long Tactical Sustainment Training exercises to include full mission profile assault, active role player threat, close quarters battle, use of force tactics, and foreign bilateral agreement training. • Designated as CBRNE direct action assault team member for the U.S. Coast Guard advanced maritime special tactics program. MSRT is the Department of Homeland Security’s only counter terrorism unit.
