Daily activities:

Supervise the working of sample boys of shift

Monitoring Cement mill feeding and ensure about lime stone, gypsum, clinker

Finding out, Initial & final setting time

Chemical analysis of raw materials.

XRF Stander Samples Preparations.

Nature of job Responsibilities

a)Quality Control:

Design of Raw mix.

Well experienced in physical & chemical analysis of raw materials (Limestone, laterite, Clay, Sand, Gypsum, Fly ash and Iron ore) Clinker and cement using Gravimteric & Volumetric Analysis & EDTA method.

Proximate Analysis of Indian And Imported coals

Preparation of limestone piles.

Determination of fineness of the cement by using Blaine’s apparatus and Sieve analysis.

b) Operation & Calibration:

Handling independently shift Lab and chemical Lab.

Preparation of all chemicals standard solutions as for BIS

Quality controlling by maintaining the all physical parameters requirements for cement as per BIS norms .

Chemical analysis of Raw mix, Kiln feed samples Clinker and all grades of cements by using both Gravimetric, EDTA And XRF methods.

Calibration of Flame photometer, Blaine apparatus, and analyzing standard samples for X-Ray Calibration.

Monitoring additive feeding of Gypsum/ Fly ash /limestone mixing in Clinker grinding for required % of IR and SO3 in Cement and maintaining Laboratory records & Lab aspects.

Coordinating with feeding supervisors & other subordinates for smooth functioning of Chemical Lab, Physical Lab and feeding section.

Calibration of lab equipment’s.

Testing of Clinker, cement and Raw materials using XRF (oxford 3500) and flame photometer.

Others

Involved in the preparation of Daily and Monthly Production Reports, Power Consumption Reports, and Stoppage Analysis Reports. Data entry in SAP

Knowledge in Trouble shooting and Maintenance of Auto sampling sending and receiving stations Updating of BIS and ISO Statuary records
