KEY PROJECTS

DESIGN OF LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER

Designed and Simulated single stage source degenerated 2.4 GHz Cascode Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) in Advanced Design Systems (ADS) using 180nm CMOS technology.

Achieved 16.69 dB gain (S21), a noise figure of 1.56 dB, input matching (S11) of -16.24dB, output matching (S22) of -16.50dB and reverse isolation (S12) of -36.24dB.

DESIGN OF 2-STAGE OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER (OP-AMP)

Designed a two-stage operational amplifier with the input power of 120 uW and bias current of 24.29 uA using LT-spice.

The results showed the differential-mode gain of -1.79e+006, the common-mode gain of 0.468 and offset voltage of 0.35uV.

DESIGN OF A MICROSTRIP BASED RECTANGULAR PATCH ANTENNA RESONATING AT 12GHZ

Calculated the key parameters of a Patch antenna including Length, Width, and Input impedance in Matlab Script.

Designed and stimulated the proposed antenna in Advanced Design System with the dimension calculated in Matlab.

Achieved Radiation efficiency of 73.66%, Directivity of 6.33 dBi, and 5.00 dBi gain.

Input Matching (S11) of -10 dB before matching circuit and -21.29 dB after designing the matching circuit.

RF BASED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM

Electronic Components Involved- Arduino UNO, TSOP IR sensor, IR Remote, Adafruit 315 MHZ Transmitter, and Receiver, Breadboard.

Developed a Smart Home Automation System with a four-button key remote transmitter, in a team of 3, by using RF (Radio Frequency) technology.

Used Relay as a Switch. Assembled a Printed Circuit board for the project and soldered various components on it.
