• Repaired different kinds of scanner units from different kinds of customers

• Tested the device with whatever would be wrong with it

• Assign it with the part it needs

• After fixing the unit, test the device, and we send them to shipping to be processing out

• MC40 - scanner used by Walmart

• MC17 - scanner used by healthcare facilities

• MC55 - scanner used by target

• Use of hand and power tools; Electrical drill, screwdriver, pliers, cutters, heat gun, air hose, Electronic testers for each model of device

• Safety grounded ESD straps foot/wrist and ESD smock and chairs

• We search the device name on the website and pull out the work instructions/blueprints for the device

• We had to make sure that we are grounded to make sure that we would not damage any electrical parts on the devices

• We diagnose what’s wrong on the unit first, we have a checklist for parts that is in the device mark a check on what part it needs. If the device has no power, I as a repair technician troubleshoot it 1st before putting a part that the device needs

• Putting the steamlinks to the box

• Printing the labels and putting the donuts to seal the box and putting the sleeves for the box

• Assembling all the parts for the units

• Use of hand tools; screwdrivers and cutters

• The main body for the unit like where the mlb is at for the device, is already tested and passed

• We just have to put it all together and package the device
