Overview of Company
Arrow Technology Group (or ATG for short) is a first nations company that specializes in providing network, computer systems, technical support and data communications throughout Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Providing customer service for people using canopy style internet
- Providing installer support when they are in the field.
- Imaging of computers for customers including desktop, laptop, IOS and Android.
- Email server configuration and support.
- AD directory support including password support and group list design.
Accomplishments
- Did a complete overhaul of the reporting system with regards to troubleshooting using Sysaid.
- Created from scratch a comprehensive map of the radio internet tower systems which included ISP info and local contacts.
- Implemented a daily check in system and dedicated separate phone line for contractors in the field so they would get proper support.
- Developed and enforced chat program for the first time in the office and extended it to cover installers.
- Laid down a method and process to optimize computer imaging.
- Oversaw the merger of System information System rebranding into Arrow Technology Group.
- Laid down procedures for comprehensive tier1 support.
- Developed mail support implementation using google mail and ms mail servers.
- Created proper documentation for proper training and procedures using wiki confluence that did not exist previously for ATG.
- developed a stock system to have a sizable chunk of our inventory ready to go in a moment’s notice based on demand.

Overview of Accounts
Worked on two different accounts: Fluor and Zurich Insurance:
I primarily did troubleshooting a wide arrangement of proprietary databases and security accounts.
Fluor is one of the largest engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and maintenance companies.
Zurich is a Swiss insurance company that is Switzerland’s largest insurers. It has separated into three core business segments: General Insurance, Global Life and Farmers.
Responsibilities
- I primarily did password resets and operating system/ms-office support for Fluor.
- I primarily did troubleshooting a wide arrangement of proprietary databases and security accounts for Zurich.
Accomplishments
- Was able to work for extended hours (40-60 hours) over a 2 year period and to show mastery over second shift.
- Was able to walk a person in Iraq through hostile conditions troubleshooting his computer.
- Providing support for over 4000 people
