EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Technical Support: Provide support for data acquisition sites. Duties included, repair of microprocessor-controlled data acquisition units (using in-circuit microprocessor emulator, and digital repair), calibration of systems, and software maintenance.
Software Experience: Writing software packages specifically for data acquisition and analysis. Languages used: C, Fortran, Visual Basic, LabVIEW (PC based instruments), HP Veetest (VXI based instruments). Embedded programming using VxWorks, embedded Linux, and Free RTOS operating systems.
Hardware: Digital/Analog design, FPGA programming Verilog language, System on Chip (SOC Microsemi SmartFusion) hardcore processor communicating with FPGA portion utilizing IP cores and Verilog code.
System Administration/Computer networks: Installation and administration of local area networks. Tasks included setting up user accounts, performing system backups, and general maintenance and trouble shooting. Knowledge in both Windows and Linux Systems.
Test Engineer: Prepare and conduct tests using digital data collection equipment to measure phenomena such as, acceleration, strain, pressure, and temperature data. Performed installation and wiring of gages, and the setting up of test parameters at the test ranges where explosive tests were conducted. Work closely with test customers to write-up and conduct cost effective tests.
Managerial: Manage a Branch of thirty employees. Responsibilities included, scheduling resources, providing technical guidance for engineers, writing performance appraisals, delegating tasks/projects.
Customer/Client Relations: Working with clients, servicing their real estate needs. Apply MD law as it pertains to real estate in preparing contracts for the sale of real estate. Negotiating deals between parties, and adhering to contractual obligations.
