RELEVANT PROJECTS

Sophomore: In my current Web Design projects I’ve created websites displaying the same content in different forms using CSS style sheets. I have used my knowledge of Information Hierarchy to enhance User Experience.

I’ve also used Bootstrap and a few interactive open source JS tools such as Leaflet and KnightLab. I’ve learned the principles of Mobile First Design, responsive web design, and how the DOM works.

In my Software Engineering class I’ve learned the principles of Object Oriented Design and the importance of creating clean and reusable code. We are using C to build a Search Engine.

In Computer Architecture I have used tools like Cedar Logic to create progressively more complicated circuits. In a team of 3 we created a simple processor that could process 5 operations (ADD, AND, STORE, LOAD, and BRANCH) using 4 registers, a 2 operation ALU, a control unit, and memory. I have used LC-3 ISA and have also used assembly language to write complex programs.

Freshman: Over the course of 10 weeks, I had to create a LeJOS EV3 robot and program it through a maze and make it return using the most efficient path using Java.

I also used Core Java and Data Structures to create small interactive games, programming robots and other course projects.
