Technician/ Assistant Manager

•Systems Analysis and Design – SchedUsys: Designed and implemented a scheduling system for students to optimize a student’s utilization of their day by consolidating a habit tracker and a daily scheduler into a single system. The application was designed to work as both, a Web application and a Mobile application.

•Achieved break-even at the end of the fourth year, with profits expected after a period of 4.39 years.

•Successfully concluded that the project was economically feasible, with a Return on Investment of 31.02%.

•Used a dataset from the National Survey on Drug use and Health, 2012, pertaining to a survey on drug abuse, to find out interesting patterns in the substance abuse of individuals and classified them based on various parameters such as age, education, income etc. Performed dependency modeling to attempt to answer the question, ‘Is Marijuana a gateway drug?’.

•Undergraduate Final Year – Cocktail approach for travel package recommendation: Created a user-friendly interface implementing a cocktail approach for travel package recommendation. Prominently depends on TAST (tourist-area-season) and TRAST (tourist-relation-area-season topic) features that depend on Gibbs algorithm to sample 100 iterations at a time.
