Research Summary

I have developed different Adsorbents from Chitosan by different modifications including chemical and physical techniques. I have carried out adsorptive removal of Chromium and different metals; and also their isotherm, kinetic and thermodynamic studies. I have Characterized compound with technique like GC, GC-MS, AAS, ICP, IR, UV, HPLC, ESR, XPS, XRD, TEM, Polarography, SEM-EDAX, TGA, DSC etc.

I have Synthesized Polyaniline nano Materials for adsorption of Chromium. Also I have Characterized adsorbent and data from adsorption.

I have Synthesized Silver and Gold Nano particles by using new capping agent for sensing of Metals.

I have experience of water analysis including sampling, storage and analysis of water quality parameters like, pH, TDS, Hardness, Chloride, Fluoride, Heavy metals, Na, K, Alkalinity, acidity, Sulphate, Silica, Phosphate etc.
