Attended the National BMES conference on October 11-14, 2017; networked with hundreds of other BME students with over 4,200 students in attendance.

Bridge Builder Award recipient 2018 which recognized my demonstration of the BMES’s core values and my commitment to community development – specifically for the philanthropy partnership that I constructed with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Helped organize their annual Muscle Walk and saved the MDA $300 by reserving the Rhatigan Student Center for the walk. Educated the BMES chapter about Muscular Dystrophy and the MDA.

Mentor: Fall 2016-Spring 2018 College of Engineering Undergraduate Peer Partners

Accelerated assimilation through personal support for three College of Engineering freshmen each year to help lead through their first year via guidance, networking, organizing, problem solving, and motivating.

Student Ambassador: Fall 2015-Spring 2018 Student Ambassador Society

Attended the national CIVSA (Collegiate Information and Visitors Services Association) conference in January, 2017 and gained additional insight into leadership, connecting the community, and promoting university/organizational pride.
