Executive Communications Team
Serves as joint coordinators for military tactical communications to domestic operations incident area within the 54 states and territories tailored to the Homeland Defense and Civil Support mission space
Provides secure and nonsecure VoIP, data and VTC capabilities to the Chief of National Guard
Oversees and constructs mission coordination, management, development and deployment of conus and OCONUS communications requirements.
Provides 24hr mission support leadership and an expanded knowledge base of various communication capabilities.
Awards and Recognition:
Deployed 72hr ahead of Hurricane Maria to provide satcom and iridium support to the Virgin Islands Air Nation Guard 2-star General Officer.
Coordinated, and managed multiple island Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISSC) communications between the Joint C4 Coordination Center (JCCC) in the National Guard 24/7 Emergency Operations Center and on ground operation sites during the 2017 Hurricane season.
Enabled communication capabilities during black outs for 12 essential response locations.
Served as Network Configuration Lead to standup eight Executive communication kits (ECK) that have been essential to provide the Chief of the National Guard on-demand reachback capabilities.
Configured, designed and maintained customs scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on task. This consisted of configuring IP access -list, port security, crypto key, interfaces and VLANS.
Led communications team for Eurocom deployment. Determined the elevation of the site was in direct conflict with terminal shot using the Web GUI spectrum analyzer. Concluded that the cross talk between the satellite and terminal would not be a viable option. Highlighting this problem saved countless hours and provided sufficient reasoning to use redundant options ensuring mission success.
Served as a Purebred Agent to procure, configure and maintain mobile cryptographic devices for deployment and distribution for joint staff officers with the highest Infosec and COMMSEC security.
