EMPLOYMENT

2010 to Present Senior Network Planning Engineer, Frontier Communications

Analyzing, forecast, cost savings, conceptualize and tactical planning for Frontier's network. (Core to CPE) Work directly with Marketing/Sales, Architect Planning, Management, and Regional Engineers by communicating (verbally and documenting) equipment standards, network standards and development forecasts for network and access needs. Provide guidance in Access to Core Planning projects for all products and services. (VoIP, Broadband and TDM)

2009 to 2010 Senior Network Engineer, Ontario and Trumansburg Telephone (FLTG)

Performed circuit design and layout drawings, initiated and performed installation of network equipment, upgrade, tested, and implemented equipment and services for both Ontario and Trumansburg Telephone and Finger Lake Technologies Group. This includes the support of new and existing LEC and CLEC networks for both their copper and fiber networks.

2006 to 2009 Senior Packet Integration Engineer, One Communications (formally Choice One Communications)

Engineer the installation, upgrade, testing, capacity, forecasting, implementation, provisioning, and overall dissemination and integration of One Communication's core switching network. This includes the support of new and existing core switching units and any applicable migration/inter-connectivity of new/future elements.

2004 – 2006 Development Engineer, Choice One Communications

Develop, analyze, test, implement, and train (Personnel/Documentation) in relation to applicable product set being introduced into the core network. Product sets relate to, but are not limited to, PON, Adsl, VoAdsl, Dynamic Bandwidth, IMA, etc. Each product sets encompasses voice, data, and management capabilities over existing and new core elements.

1999 – 2004 Senior System Engineer/Team Leader, Choice One Communications

Primary Engineer in charge of installation, implementation, and provisioning, testing, and overall evaluation of equipment/software as it relates to departmental elements. Established all applicable Quality of Service standards and procedures documents and ensured timely processing was met or exceeded on internal or external projects.

Provided level 3 supports to Network Operational Center, Network Provisioning, Customer Repair, Operations, Billing, and Attorneys (CALEA) Technical Consultants, while working in conjunction with clients and vendors, applicable equipment requirements or software to ensure timely resolutions.

1997 – 1999 Network Engineer, Frontier Communications of Rochester

Assigned Host switches (Lucent 5ESS and applicable remotes) and Nortel's DMS200 operator service switch/platform. Ensure the timely processing of translations, provisioning, equipment installation/de-activation, upgrading, and technical support for these assigned switches/remotes.

1995 – 1997 Circuit Design Engineer, Frontier Communications International

Design dedicated customer orders on existing network and ordered any applicable equipment or circuits required to meet network growth for DS0’s, DS1’s and 8YY services. Complete ASRs for submission to LEC and IXC companies.
