”Finger print recognition using Raspberry pi”

Description:

Fingerprint recognition is one of the most popular and accurate technology. Nowadays, it is used in many real time applications. However, recognizing fingerprints in Linux based embedded computers (raspberry pi) is still a very complex problem. This entire work is done on the Linux based embedded computer called raspberry pi, in which database creation and management using python language, fingerprint reader access, authentication and recognition using python were entirely done on raspberry pi.When a power supply gets ON with the help of connector, the scanner will scans the finger print of a person.

It has a five mode of keys in a keypad. If a enrollment key is used means the LCD will display a command as “enter a id number”. If we enter an id number the scanner will scan the finger print twice a time. The second mode of key is finger print identification key if we used the key means it will display our database which had already stored in a program. The third key is database matching key it just check a matching between a already existed finger print and a present finger print. The next mode is delete key it is used for deleting a particular person’s database. The delete all key is used for delete all the database in a program.
