Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE), is the premier Warship building Company in India, under the administrative Control of Ministry of Defence OF INDIA, since 1960.we learned the processes that are practiced during the manufacturing of the ships, and how the power is transmitted in the ships.

Job Role

As a trainee I was responsible to learn the Basic assembly of transmission system, how the manufacturing process takes place (i.e. different stages of a project) till the ship is finally handed over to Indian navy. Since the organisation is acting under the central defence service we were not allowed to go through certain process like weapons assembly, SOS installation etc. which might affect the security of nation.

DTC, Delhi 4th July, 2017 to 24th July, 2017

DTC is the organisation that manages the transportation in Delhi working under state government. Here we had worked and practice our skills in improvement/maintenance of the Busses.

Job Role

As a trainee I was responsible as an active member for fixing general problem/issue the busses are facing these problem were as follow:

Check of break disc thickness and replacement if needed

Change of engine oil (during regular servicing)

Change of bellow (part of suspension) when needed

Break pad Replacement

Checking parts such as ball joints, AVM, Knuckles, Spark plug, bushes etc and report the same to the Head so effective measures could be taken place.

Check sheet completion and maintenance.

Other than the above jobs we also disassembled the engine, Gear Box, Retarder of busses in case of serious problems e.g. knocking in engine, decrease engine performance TECHINICAL SKILLS KNOWN
