Recent Electrical Engineering graduate seeking a full-time, Entry Level Electrical Engineering position where engineering skills I have studied in distribution line design and electrical utilities can be applied and further enhanced through the work environment. Seeking a position where I may further gain engineering and management skills as a professional engineer in a team emphasized environment by being a strong team contributor and developing solutions for problems needed from the beginning concept to end product. INTERN IDAHO NATIONAL LABORATORY MAY 2017- JULY 2017

Participated in a 10-week internship position at Idaho National Laboratory under the Clean Energy Transmission Division. Conducted research under project GLASS (General. Line. Ampacity. State. Solver), where real-time windmill transmission line data was collected and used to find running ambient temperatures. These ambient temperatures where then used to push the capacity of current transmission throughout the length of transmission.

Assisted in software testing and data analysis of the GLASS software to ensure reliability of mathematics within software comparing results to proven techniques previously used. Ran stress testing on GLASS software for operation of real-time calculations. Crash testing of the GLASS and SAND software for improved user performance and GUI development.

Worked within a group of fellow interns from all regions of the country as well as with professional engineers in a National Lab setting to enhance my skills as an electrical engineer and researcher. Participated in professional business meetings and kept log books of tasks that were in progress and completed.

RESIDENT ASSISTANT UTSA HOUSING AND RESIDENCE LIFE MAY 2015 – MAY 2017

Provided residents with a safe and positive experience; collaborated with 18 co-resident assistants and complex coordinators to ensure health/safety inspections are meeting standards and to perform assessments of residents and facilities.

Created programs for residents as ways to meet and interact with other residents and provide alternative activities for residents to attend (i.e. nutrition programming, stress-relief initiatives, team-building exercises, etc.).

Managed Front Desk duties, communicating effectively with residents and parent population.
