EXPERIENCE
AUGUST 2017 – MARCH 2018
INTERN, LANIER THERAPY MOTION
Sanitizing all therapeutic equipment
Filing folders, electrodes, etc.
Assistance with phones calls
Maintaining organization and neatness at front desk
Patient support and assistance
Working with Lanier Therapy showed me how to provide swift action to keep an office running at their most intense hours filled with assisting patients and their doctors by keeping track of who’s in and out of stations and keeping everything clean, neat, and sanitized as well as organizing files and other important documents. Working here taught me maturity, positivity, and how to truly get to know people.
MARCH 2018 – NOW
LIFEGUARD, BOGAN PARK AQUATICS CENTER
Customer service and assistance
Assisting patrons with any issues they may have
Preparing the pools for public, i.e. making sure land lines are out, checking for any possible safety hazards, keeping the deck and bathrooms clean, as well as pool maintenance
As a guard, I work as a team with my fellow employees. I always stay alert and diligent and have a positive attitude towards those I work with and those I guard. Working here as well as going through training has given me the knowledge to save a life, the skills needed to prevent losing a life, and a meaning in my own.
EDUCATION
GRADUATED, flowery branch high school
Like most kids, saving up for college and maintaining good grades were my main priorities in school, but besides my job, I also focused on Work Based Learning, a program in my school that only 100 students can enter. To be in the program, they looked for kids with all grade A classes and kids who were determined to take their first steps into the real world, I guess I fit the picture leading me to Lanier Therapy and all the lessons I learned there.
SKILLS
great with people and communications
well organized
positive outlook
dependent and reliable
always alert and on time
ACTIVITIES
From participating in local poem contests to visiting NASA for an astronaut training program, I feel very strong about education. I believe in books, not violence. I want to show that to the world and one day be able to teach that to children, to our future. I spend most my time reading books or learning something. My curiosity has led me to learn Spanish, Morse code, and even CPR; I want to learn more and I think a job here would be a wonderful chance to do so.
