Served as Consortium Lead for North America on 3-year, $800MM, highly-publicized, high voltage direct current (HVDC), “Bipole III Transmission Line” project for Manitoba Hydro. Coordinated with European Project Director and US Partner to achieve assigned objectives. Managed client and stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication, aligning goals, leading technical meetings and preparing information and reports.

• Collaborated cross-functionally and globally (Germany, Canada and Project Office).

• Contributed to delivery of renewable energy to southern Manitoba and the U.S., reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Strengthened reliability, increased capacity and improved security of Manitoba’s electricity supply by reducing dependency on existing HVDC transmission lines in the Dorsey Converter Station.

SIEMENS – Project Manager – US Offshore Wind Platform Cape Wind • Served as Offshore Project Manager for Windfarm Substation, evaluating subcontractors, awarding contracts, executing design, obtaining BOEM / DNV certification and coordinating UK and U.S. teams.

SIEMENS – Director of Engineering & Construction Works • Led 15-person Civil Engineering team and 6-person Auxiliary Systems team to execute project strategies while adhering to specified procedures.
