The purpose of the project was to improve the supply chain performance of the distribution center which serves 57 stores, using Heuristic methods.

Total number of trips per week for local deliveries were reduced from 101 to 86 in the first method and further reduced to 71 in the second method.

Savings per month when compared to current process amounted to anywhere between 14.85%- 29.7%.

Performed Data Clustering and Hypothesis Testing using SPSS software for the analysis.
