Database Programmer/Administrator:

Responsible for creating scripts and reports based on end-user input for the delivery of needed information. Update the maintenance/inventory database to resolve errors using SQL. Administer the system, assist management and personnel with specific Database requests on a daily basis.

Transferred all aircraft records from an old Dataflex maintenance system to a new SQL Server Inventory/Maintenance system.

Created a script to ping remote servers to ensure network health and a client server script to allow outbase users the ability to run reports on local servers. and incorporated California and Puerto Rico Payroll law into a Dataflex job costing system.

Produced a menuing script to replace Sabre Menu Program.

1998 to 1999 KEMPER NATIONAL SERVICES Los Angeles, CA

Database Programmer/Contractor:

Utilized object-oriented and procedural Dataflex. Created and supported data-entry, report, and database maintenance programs to support and augment an insurance software package in an AIX/UNIX environment. Maintained and upgraded UNIX scripts. Participated in Y2K project involving upgrading of DOS-based Dataflex 3.05 package to Dataflex 3.1b and a Y2K-oriented modification to a small C program.

1997 to 1998 WAL-MART Los Angeles, CA

Database Programmer/Contractor:

Created database maintenance programs to support a Dataflex insurance software package in a UNIX environment. Wrote numerous error reporting programs and a program to permit full-historical ‘as-of-date’ insurance claim reporting. Designed/wrote a program to report various data errors outside of the pre-packaged information as well as a program to assign policy numbers to insurance claims and to report missing/conflicting policy criteria.
