WORK EXPERIENCE
Infosys
Systems Engineer Jan 2017- Present
Had a project at OCBC in robotics process automation(RPA) where we help to code a software in C# to help automatically get information from a server application, filter the information according to client requirements and paste it onto excel. We then write html code to produce a summary table onto outlook for client to receive a report on email. This helps to reduce manual repetitive administrative work for our clients.
We developed software and write code to solve problems for users. We develop test cases for UAT(user acceptance testing) as well as prepare a BRD(business requirement document) for client to sign. This is done by gathering user requirements, creating a flowchart using visio. We then had to prepare positive and negative test cases for UAT, help to handle exceptions when it fails, prepare a user troubleshooting guide. We also had to make sure the robot test results match those that is manually run. Then we had to provide warranty services after the product has gone live.
