Description:

As part of active team member in SQL Server shared DB Team, I gave support to the critical customers like Retail, Financial Sectors, Automobile Sectors and Other Reputed Organizations. Also worked on nearly 10+ Customer environments and ensured high availability from DB Perspective End to End.

We Provide 24*7 Database Administration support to more than 100 databases, ranging from 200MB to 3TB.We provide them Database administration assistance comprising deployments and managing their databases adequately.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Creating logins and assigning proper permissions to the created logins, mapping logins to the database and granting appropriate permissions.

Involved in Installing SQL Server and its service packs and also client installations as required.

Checking the status of backup troubleshooting the failed backups and restoration of databases.

On-Call responsibilities for Production database systems.

Responding to the alerts & service requests from the customers .

Verifying all instances are up and running as per the checklist.

Creating Indexes to improve the performance as per Dev/App team request.

Recovering and Restoring databases from backup in disaster situations.
