Dear hiring manager,

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in medical surgical nursing, bariatric nursing and nursing case management. Please consider my resume for the position of Nurse Practitioner for your organization. I am a quick learner and I fully dedicate myself to the job. Coming from another country at the age of 11 I have worked hard for my education and have seized the opportunities that this country has to offer. I enjoy caring for people and truly enjoy providing medical care, as well as providing personal interaction and making my patients feel secure and important in my care. I base my nursing practice partially on Watson’s Theory of Caring, as I believe that the physical aspect alone is not sufficient to ensure the patients well-being. I am fluent in three languages and would love the opportunity to provide optimal care to your patients.

Becoming a medical provider has been my goals since age 6, when my brother was hit by a drunk driver. As I watched physicians and nurses provide his medical care, I knew that I wanted to return the favor to society and provide care to patients and their family in all stages of life and disease process. I am interested in working at your facility because I believe I could reach my professional goals with you, while providing proper care to your patient population.

I believe in leading by example and strive to set positive changes in my professional as well as personal lives. I have not missed any days of work during my almost 3-year career with my current employer. I am involved in my community and do believe in volunteering for the less fortunate in order to positively change their lives.

I hope you will agree that I possess the attributes needed to fill the Nurse Practitioner position with your facility. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Russian. Throughout my 3 years of experience in nursing, I have become proficient in physical examinations, providing disease and medication education to patients, and working in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. During my Clinicals I was exposed and participated in injections, biopsies, incision and drainage procedures, which fascinate me, and with a little more training I believe I could master those skills to provide them to patients as needed within your practice setting. I did also complete 180 hours of my clinicals at clinic which specializes in psychiatric care of adult, juvenile, and child populations, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and do potentially forsee returning to school to receive a PNP certification in the future. Although, I enjoy my current position and employer, they do not offer a position for Nurse Practitioners. I would love the opportunity to work for your organization to help make a positive change in the lives of your patients, as well as support the development of your medical team and mission.

I am very interested in meeting with you to further discuss my credentials and how my education and experience can be of benefit to your practice. I can be reached anytime at 405-***-**** or via email at ac7n8p@r.postjobfree.com

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Respectfully submitted,

Alisa Tarasova
