DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide a safe working environment with Zero Accident.

Making and reviewing of HSE related plans and procedures.

Co-ordinate with the client HSE department in implementing HSE rules and regulation at work site.

Day to day scrutiny of operations on site with regard to safe system of work including protective equipment, material & Sub- contractors.

Conducting tool box talks & Safety induction to workers, safety meeting with staff employees.

Checking the permits, providing access, barricades, life line providing sign boards on site.

Monitor the personal at work and ensure correct use of issued personal protective equipment, man, and material and equipment movement.

Creating safety awareness among employees and educate them on safety matters.

Prepare safety news letter and other safety alerts and circulate among employees to improve their awareness on safety matters.

Inspection of lifting equipment and tackles to ensure their correctness and validity of certification.

Report / investigate unsafe acts/conditions as per procedure and implement corrective action as required.

Safety coverage for critical job like heavy lifting operation, confined space entry, work on live lines and hazardous areas, pipelines installation, pipeline welding and hydro testing as per company safety policies and adhere to client standards and rules and regulations and conducting everyday tool box talk.

Assisted project Management in arranging with the client / plants concerned authority’s relevant safety requirements such as Work Permit receiver/Fire Watch & Entry Attendant certification course.

Maintained completes and up-to-date record of safety Inspections/Reports, Competent/Certified personnel, Rigging Equipment Certification/Test Certificate, Heavy Equipment third party inspections, safety statistics and another required pertinent document.

Coordinate with client’s HSE personal while conducting during emergency evacuation drill and other fire and safety drill / exercise.

Inspection and periodical maintenance of safety and fire equipment.

Record maintenance of lifting equipment and tackles, safety and fire equipment other equipment and vehicles operating at work site, mandatory safety training attendance details and certificate validity of all personnel at project work.

To be involve in promotional works for encouraging the workers and employees on site for safe work.
