Project Business Manager, seconded to the national oil company of Indonesia, PT Pertamina, (Persero) under a Master Services Agreement responsible for Project Controls, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Contracts, and Risk Management for their $40 billion expansion plans to construct three grassroots refineries, and expand three existing refineries over the next decade. The initial assignment was for support to Pertamina’s Engineering Center for the expansion of the Balikpapan Refinery at an estimated cost of $6 billion. My role focused on capability building of Pertamina staff, selection and implementation of tools, work processes and procedures.
