Responsible for supporting the company's client. Posted at District & Sessions Court, Jaisalmer and responsible for Maintenance and Upkeep of ICT infrastructure in coordination with the concerned service providers and such other duties assigned by the High Court and technical support for eCourts project. Ensuring that all hardware and software is configured and installed correctly.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The eCourts Integrated Mission Mode Project is one of the national eGovernance
projects being implemented in High Courts and district/subordinate Courts of the
Country. The project has been conceptualized on the basis of the“National Policy
and Action Plan for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology
in the Indian Judiciary 2005” by the eCommittee of the Supreme Court of India.
Duties:
Responsible for networking, installation and maintenance services. Supporting users and network administrators over the telephone and by email. Maintain the company’s network infrastructure.
Networking and providing support for Window/Linux issues. Configuration and
testing of any new hardware and software.
Travelling to client sites to help with installs, deployment, and troubleshooting. Management of the daily data backup and retrieval scheme.
Installing and operating Windows desktop and UNIX operating systems. TCP/IP networking and hardware maintenance and repair.
Assistance with training of staff and compiling procedural documentation. Assisting the network manager with support requests.
Ensure computer hardware is safe & complies with health and safety legislation. Applying patches in accordance with company procedures.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
A positive attitude towards customer service and good communication skills. Experience of Windows 8/Windows 7/xp professional /Linux/ office 2003. Commercial technical support experience of network infrastructure. Ability to be clear & concise when explaining technical procedures to customers.
