Dear Human Resources,
As a skilled Phlebotomist, I read your posting for a new Phlebotomist with interest. My mother worked in special studies, respiratory, and was a Sleep Lab director. This caused me to spend much time in a hospital or clinical setting, and it also helped to pave the way for me to desire a job in phlebotomy. I completed my training at the Jeff Davis Campus (MGCCC), and I completed my clinical training under the care of a knowledgeable staff at Garden Park Medical Center. Also, it is in my plans to expand my education in the areas of EKG and other heath related fields in the near future. Some of my current skills are listed below:
Adhering to protocols regarding safety, specimen handling, and privacy.
Keeping laboratory areas neat and well-stocked.
Making patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
A successful venipuncture stick rate.
In addition, I have experience in a medical setting under the care of Dr. Miles. The job duties under Doctor Miles was performing sleep studies and being a receptionist.
Please review my attached resume for additional details regarding my expertise and career achievements. I will follow up with a request for an appointment to discuss how my experience and background meets your needs.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Jessica M. Dye
