CAREER OBJECTIVE
To use my engineering knowledge to the best of my abilities to improve production and overall operations while also improving my own skills and working with the rest of your talented team
EDUCATION
Michigan State University May 2018
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
GPA 3.14
Pharmacology and Toxicology minor
Biomedical concentration
Employment
Cargill Cedar Rapids East Soybean Facility
Production Management Co-Op June 2018 – December 2018
Managed complex projects, including the development and execution of the Management of Change (MOC) process, scheduling and managing contractors and brining in outside resources, and training operators and technicians on the safe operating parameters of new technologies and capital
Implemented a state of the art remote extraction process that allows for the ease of operator movement between control rooms and equipment checks while maintaining safety and the necessary attention due the extraction process
Managed contractor’s daily operations, including permits, Pre-Job Hazard Assessments, and critical task plans
Updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect process changes and efficiency improvements
Coordinated and managed safe work of operators, mechanics, and contractors during an extended welding shutdown
Active member of the Cedar East safety committee, and helped identify and develop projects to improve process and personal safety
Gained valuable experience with data manipulation and visualization, including condensing complex data sets down to operation relevant numbers and concepts available for quick and comprehensive analysis by operators
Helped with day-to-day, operations, trouble shooting, and throughput improvements
EnSURE (Engineering Summer Undergraduate Research Experience)
Undergraduate Research Assistant May 2015 - July 2015
Mentored by Dr. Bohlert and Vahid Khademi – Material Science and Engineering laboratory
Prepared samples to maximum quality to ensure successful testing by SEM and EBSD. Used diamond quality polishing equipment to prepare titanium alloy samples. A mirror finish was required for optimal results
Learned operation of SEM and gained experience collecting in-depth pictures of sample surfaces
Learned operation of EBSD to obtain molecular surface orientations
Conducted heat treatment tests in vacuum atmosphere to specific experimental methods to ensure successful testing Test was to determine the temperature for optimal strength
Between heat treatments, assessed the hardness using Vicar’s hardness testing methods
Planned events for grade school children to increase their interest and show opportunities involved in the STEM field

Organizations
2013-2018
Member of Phi Sigma Rho (Engineering sorority, Alpha Delta Chapter)
A Sorority exclusive to women in engineering allowing them to focus on engineering and academics while participating in socials and philanthropy events.
Took initiative and persuaded my sisters to only hold rush once a year to free up time for studying as well as preparing our new members to take over leadership positions
