Overview

I have been working in the technology field since the mid 80s. By the 1990s I was managing both development and operations groups. In the mid 90s I became the first Director of Information Systems for OnCommand Corporation. At that time, OnCommand had about 1000 employees located in regions throughout the country. My group was responsible for data center operations, software development, desktop support, and facilities. In 1999 I took a position as Vice President of Operations and Technology for Fastparts.com. As part of the executive management team, I had the opportunity to participate in securing round “D” VC funding. In March of 2000 we raised 34.5 million dollars in private placement capital with Investco as the lead investor. After the .com crash, I accepted a position as Chief Technology Officer for Enporion, Inc. When I arrived at the company they had already burned through 30 million dollars in capital and had very little time left. Within a few months we in-sourced most of the operations and reduced the IT burn by 90%. After Enporion was sold to a competitor, I co-founded two software startup, Vmersion LLC and Vmersion - Health LP. My good friend, Joe Madden (son of football legend John Madden).

I have been working in the technology field for over 30 years. The last 19 years have been in small to mid-size companies as part of the executive management team. As a manager, I believe that hiring smart motivated employees and working in a highly collaborative environment is the best way to bring a project in on time and on budget. I am equally comfortable in an engineering lab, data center or board room. I am looking for an executive position that can leverage my background and help lead the company to success.

Bees beat there wing at different frequencies base on the type of job they are doing in the hive. I have created an application that can listen to the hive and determine the hives condition. Last year I completed the proof of concept and I am currently working hardware system that will scale and be less than $10 per hive to implement.
