To whom it may concern:
Leonard Shikokoti was employed as my domestic worker and caretaker of my property from April 2010 until I left Kenya. Leonard is hard working, and is quick to learn new skills as well as very trustworthy. He came upon recommendation of Colonel Dave Jones who had known him for several years prior to us hiring him. Leonard was hand -picked by my replacement Colonel Ben Woods who expressed appreciation to us for his multiple years of dedicated service while he was stationed at WRP Kisumu.
Leonard would eagerly take on new responsibilities to include assisting my wife in preparing meals, shopping for fresh produce including cleaning and preparing for large gathering of people. My wife trusted him with a monthly stipend specifically for going to the market or other household purchases required for an active social life. Along with the extra autonomy came extra responsibility which Leonard always used to exceed our expectations on every occasion.
My wife and I both give him our unwavering endorsement as an exceptional trusted family member capable of virtually any type of service within a household, from general cleaning to early warning or protection in a time of emergency; as he was also trained as a security guard for the US Embassy. Any family that would take on Leonard as an additional family member would quickly find they have a true friend who they can rely on for virtually any situation.
