NIIT PROJECT

Performed data analysis on H1B visa applicants between the years 2011-2016 using Hadoop framework.

Data Acquisition, in this a structured, semi structured, or unstructured data loaded into tables, relations, using different techniques and methods using MAPREDUCE, HIVE, PIG concepts.

Data Cleaning/ Data transformation, where we created internal/ external tables and transformed data. Where we came to see nature, behavior, reaction of particular object to a particular use case.

Used Apache Hive to run map reduce jobs on top of the HDFS Data.

Performed Pig scripts using built in functions and extracted data from data files to load in HDFS.
