Project Description:

Global Risk Solutions is a part of Asset Servicing Technology which primarily consists of RAM platform and Eagle PACE.

The RAM Platform (Russell and Mellon Database) is a set of Calculation Engines, Results database, Control files, Data Extracts, Reporting Platforms which provides BNY Mellon clients in the CGNP (Corporate, Governments and Non-profits). The RAM Engines takes the client and market data in order to calculate rates of return (Performance), detailed and summary portfolio analytics. These results are written out to the RAM DB2 tables for reporting and are used in turn to calculate Attribution and Universes.

EAGLE PACE (Performance and Analytic Concentration Engine) is an investment portfolio management system which provides performance information to financial institutions. Web based data-centric investment management system and acts as data hub which gets data from multiple sources. Provides reporting and data management capabilities for performance measurements, attribution, mutual fund performance and GIPS compliance. Widely acknowledged in the Investment management domain.

The project is to maintain the various applications for Ace Hardware Corporation in the Onsite/Offshore Model. These applications are spread across various fields like Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management System, Merchandise, Commerce, Ace Net, Finance, Inbound, Outbound and Special Order Access system. The maintenance as well as enhancements based upon requirement is undertaken for these applications. These maintenance or enhancement requests need to be handled only in the duration of 10 to 30 days. The project also involves 24 X 7 Production Support for these Applications. The priority requests in this field need to be addressed based upon SLA.

Offshore:

As a Team Leader involved in managing the Change Request (CR), studying and understanding the various applications used in Ace hardware Business and preparing the high level design document, preparing detailed design document based on HLD, coding and testing. Interacting efficiently with the other teams like SAP ABAP, SAP MM, SAP FICO, Message Broker and Informatica in sending data such as Article details directly to SAP without any manual intervention. Co -ordinate with DBA team to implement the table changes and DB2 catalog information. Working on Ad-hoc based additional tasks and some major URE’s in production that will help the client in maintaining the production standard.

Onsite:

As a Project Leader, responsible for maintenance and 24 X 7 application support of Ace net applications, Knowledge sharing to offshore team members and submitting status reports to Client Manager on weekly and monthly basis. Involved in managing the Change Request (CR), studying and understanding the various applications used in Ace hardware Business, preparing the high level design document, preparing detailed design document based on HLD, coding and testing.
