Executive Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of GIS, I personally maintain the Office Director’s day-to-day, monthly and yearly calendars. Updating it when required and ensuring that the Office Director is apprised of any changes or additions made to those calendars. I created a vacation, holiday, and alternate work schedule calendar for the Leadership Team to ensure that office coverage is provided in each area of the organization during peak/seasonal vacation time. I also have the responsibility of maintaining and updating the organizational and emergency contact charts and updating them as appropriate. I answer all the Front Office principal telephones and often answer routine questions that are asked by the caller. I work closely with the organizations Staff Assistants to ensure that administrative duties are always in place in the Front Office.

Responsible for Tatel (time and attendance) electronic record keeping system that is used by the Department of State. Responsible for entering time and attendance data for the 250 When-Actually-Employed (WAE) workforce, the Office Director, Deputy Director and the Leadership Team every two weeks. Responsible for the safe keeping of all sensitive time and attendance and office files for the Front Office in accordance with Department of State policies and practices. Trained and became proficient in entering information into the State Archiving System (FREEDOMS), an electronic case tracking system containing over 6,000 records. This includes all Freedom of Information request cases as well as all Privacy Act requests that are received by the Department of State from the general public, Congress, the news media and other government agencies.

Executive Assistant for FAA AUA TAC and TAC2. Responsible for support to the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Senior Technologist, plus 5 analyst/engineers. Assigned to provide all secretarial, administrative, and technical support. Screen personnel and telephone calls. Maintain manager’s calendar and schedule appointments, prepare an array of correspondence, travel accounting, and supply orders for the manager/staff. Arrange travel and schedule conferences for all personnel.

Executive Assistant for Proposal Operations Group. Responsible for support to the manager, plus 20 graphic artist, proposal coordinators, and editors. Provided all secretarial, administrative, and technical support. Screened personnel and telephone calls. Maintained manager’s calendar and scheduled appointments; prepared an array of correspondence, purchase orders, supply orders for the manager. Arranged travel and scheduled conferences for all proposal personnel. Assisted in updating the network database for proposal operations LAN.

Administrative Specialist on the IUSS Program. Responsible for support to Captain Nifontoff, USN, Program Director, Space and Naval Warfare Command. Provided on-site assistance to the Navy office in their transition from Crystal City, VA to San Diego, CA. Assigned as the head secretary to the PD18 program director to provide all secretarial, administrative, and technical support. Screened personnel and telephone calls. Maintained director's calendar and scheduled appointments; prepared correspondence for the director's signature to include personal, social, and congratulatory formats. Arranged travel and scheduled conferences.

Interim work after WAAS contract was canceled consisted of TRW Employee Services Store. For approximately six weeks provided support working the cash register, sales, balancing daily receipts, bank deposits, inventory of newly arrived merchandise, and made sure the store was properly stocked. Supplied discount packages to employees. Typed the employee advertisements in the READOUT and handled incoming calls from soliciting vendors. Helped arrange blood drives in two locations. Also, provided proposal support on the Postal Service Proposal for six weeks.
