Development Engineer Internship, May 2016-October 2018 Faurecia Interior Systems, Southfield, Michigan
Internship in the Serial Life and Development Departments at Faurecia Interior Systems in the Ford CBU.
Initiated engineering changes to parts when alerted by OEM and released new parts to correct plant.
Created and adjusted BOM’s when changes were made to parts.
Observed tooling and part trials to ensure tools and parts met the specifications set by Ford. Composite Engineer Internship, May 2014-August 2014 Roush Industries, Livonia, Michigan
Internship in the Composites Department at Roush.
Observed and took part in the different processes of creating composite parts.
Analyzed parts in CAD to determine if the part could properly be removed from mold.
Ran tests on completed parts to validate the part could function properly. PROJECTS
Developed, as part of a team of students, a heated blanket for a paraplegic individual that could safely regulate the temperature of his legs in cold environments. This would help to prevent injuries due to cold that he would otherwise be unaware of.
