Raven Myrick
Eightmile, AL 36613
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this in response to the PNP job listed on the facility’s website. I feel as though this position will be an excellent suit alongside with my experience and education. Please consider me as a candidate for the PNP position.
I recently graduated from the Primary Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing in Birmingham, Alabama on August 10, 2018. The nursing experience I have obtained, with the extensive pediatric nurse practitioner education I have received makes this position a great fit for me. The specialized knowledge and skillset that I have gained through working permanently and also through traveling, are skills that I will be able to apply and use in this role.
My goal is to expand on the knowledge that I have obtained to provide better services to patients and along with better patient outcomes. My short-term goal is to obtain a position here within your facility and relocate. After traveling I now know where I want to make home and live long term. Also, to become more informed, build on the knowledge I've obtained and provide the best care possible to your pediatric population. Working in some many different areas with different patient populations has exposed me to such a wide variety of patients to care for where I am now able to put it all together and go beyond the role as a RN and actually form a plan myself based off knowledge and experience. Long term my goal is to obtain rapport with patients and families so that they may feel comfortable in returning to the facility for care which in return gives us better patient outcomes, but also promotes continuity, which contributes to both the facility and the patient. This position would be an excellent start to my career and an attribute to your organization.
I am very eager to learn more about this position. I look forward to speaking with you about further details regarding my qualifications. If you have any further questions, please contact me at 251-***-****. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to meeting with you.
Sincerely,
Raven Myrick
