06/2016 – 07/2017 IT Developer/Engineer HPE/DXC – Conway, AR

Test Management involved Waterfall and Agile. If it was an existing product, I learned the product, engaged with PM’s and BA’s to identify changes, identifying business cases, testing opportunities, and steps. After signing off on the business cases, created the test plan, identified testers, and implemented testing. Using HP ALM, test cases were ran, results recorded. Reports were delivered to stake holders, priorities assigned, and tests reran until complete. If it was a new product, I engaged from the beginning with the BA and SME.

Test Automation used Postman for API testing, UFT/QTP, LeanFT, Selenium, Python, Robot Framework along with 3rd party software to script a UI test against multiple browsers and mobile devices once enabling running a group of tests at a click of a button. I programmed a ChatBot, TAOBot, to do my automated tasks. Tests were created in both Window and Linux environments using UFT, LeanFT, Python, Java, Javascript, Node.js, and shell scripting. I was able to create 98% of the scripts used. R&D was required to identify and implement free technologies that would get the job done.

Weekly VP division status reporting was also my responsibility. Gathering individual and team statistics for a team of 30+ people, and creating standardized meaningful visuals for presentation by our Director for the VP. My R&D POC’s were directly presented to the VP.

10/2011 – 1/2013 Data Delivery Analyst Acxiom Corporation – Conway, AR

Supporting a worldwide team that was creating a custom software package for a Fortune 100 company, my task was to analyze incoming and outgoing data to ensure continuity and correct processing. By validating and identifying changes in an extremely large incoming xml, I was able to identify issues and validate proper version changes. To validate outgoing data, I used SAS, Datastage, Perl, Linux, Sql, and various data pulls to get the data needed for comparison. I used Xquery, XSD’s, XSLT, and custom tools to complete the process. Load testing was also needed, it was my task to identify, implement, and train management on the product selected. SoupUI was also used during the API validation process.

Using text compare to correctly identifying change documents I was able to identify changes in XSD versions and document changes quickly and accurately surprising the client on our efficiency. This, along with the creation of Runbooks, multiple database data dictionaries, and issue tracking reports were delivered quickly and accurately on a daily or as needed basis.

As a tester, I created Perl scripts to load the initial test xml into the process, and test the xml’s progress through its java and SAS journey. SoupUI was used to verify that requests for data were correctly returned. I was responsible for identifying use cases, creating test cases, running test scripts, testing output, and reporting and tracking the results. I identified and implemented 3rd party software that made this task faster and more efficient. I was given multiple achievement awards.

10/2009 – 6/2010 Sales Operation Analyst HP – Conway, AR

In order to support 13 sales reps and a Manager in the Extended Warranty sales division, I acquired leads from database pulls (MS Access, Oracle, flat files) and lead generation software daily. These leads were scrubbed and validated before being regionally dispersed to the sales reps via a complex link between MS Excel, MS Access, and SharePoint. Using internal software, I monitored sales personnel to ensure that they were staying on task and working the phones. Leads that were lost or created into sales were investigated and reported to Management using both individual and team statistics.

Anomalies were deeply investigated. On one such occasion, it was noticed that many leads had already been called and sold to. After acquiring access and pulling data from multiple sales databases, I identified the team that was stealing our leads. After thorough documentation, my Manager was able to get 25% taken off of our quarterly quota. This was the amount the other team had stolen from us.

Weekly, monthly, and quarterly time management and sales documentation were also generated to support management and sales. This along with new information was distributed in team meetings that I organized or via SharePoint, as I was the SharePoint administrator.

09/2008 – 03/2009 Tax Analyst Intern Acxiom Corporation – Conway, AR

After investigating 5+ years of invoices for Acxiom sales and services by querying multiple databases and datastores and creating complex MS Excel workbooks to import, process, and store the data, I identified properly and improperly charged sales taxed invoices in compliance of the rules of each state the customer was located, contacted the customer of the discrepancy and reconciled whether a tax exempt form was on file or if they were going to send in back taxes owed.

If not reconciled, the sale was added to documentation in preparation for the individual state auditors inspection. This saved Acxiom in remitting back taxes and fines to the states when audited. I then implemented correct sales procedures for the future. This process was also done for Acxiom purchasing. I received an Excellence Award.
