General duties including loading and offloading, assisting in moving equipment around the rig and assisting all other crew members as needed. Cleaning and general maintenance of the rig.

Inspects and verifies that derrick’s locking mechanisms are properly engaged

Maintaining and inspecting climbing devices and fall prevention equipment

Working in the derrick on tubing board and rod basket when tripping pipe

Operating pump and understand the workings of the valves and manifold

Verifying that the derrick is properly scoped out

Verifying the derrick is properly anchored and the derrick escape devices are properly deployed

Inspecting and maintaining the crown sheaves

Verifying that tubing board and rod basket are properly deployed

Supporting the training of the Trainees and Floor hands

Performing other duties as directed by management

01.06.2007 Driller

Running the control panel next to the rig floor, controlling the height of the derrick, monitoring the roughnecks and derrick hand

Holding pre-tour meeting with the crew for all operations

Supervising and directing operations in the picking up or laying down of pipes and rods all related equipment

Able to use simple math to make job related calculations.

Informing Tool pusher if a deviation from planned operation occurs
