Manager, Electrical Department / Manager, Operations Department. / Sr. Consultant - Electrical
Spearheaded project management for Davis Besse NFPA 805 support project, a $1.4M annual venture, coordinating all ARS tasks, project plans, budgets, resources, and schedules for critical divisions of Operations, Electrical, and Fire Protection. Facilitated 10 CRF 50, Appendix R, and NFPA 805 risk reduction support. As Electrical Department Manager, developed and executed comprehensive procedures, including training and supervising qualified personnel, identifying safety equipment and safe shutdown functions, and proposing modifications to maintain shutdown capability to reduce risks for multiple Japanese reactor types. Oversaw cable selection, circuit failure analysis, and cable routing training to multiple Japanese clients. As Operations Manager, led seven experienced operations personnel in conducting risk-informed performance-based assessments in support of transition to new licensing basis for four US nuclear units. Coordinated work assignments to support multiple simultaneous projects through completion.

Recognized and hand-picked by peers to serve as electrical subject matter expert for six BWR and PWR Owners' Group peer reviews of risk assessments for new and existing plants in the United States and around the globe.
Increased overall effectiveness, reorganizing project team in an open work environment to maximize synergy and sharing of ideas, while promoting problem resolution between team members that resulted in completion of a project scope that was increased by 250% with a mere 46% cost increase.
Successfully led operations to restart Japanese reactors after Fukushima, achieving full operation of four of six plants, while continuing to upgrade remaining two.

Established and trained a 25-man, 5-shift Crisis Action Team, reassigning unused active-duty billets from multiple UICs combined with reserve billets. Served as Project Lead for development and testing of web-based personnel accountability system.

Improved Navy accountability from mustering 82% of personnel in three weeks post-Katrina to consistently mustering 97% within 48 hours.
