Disney Consumer Products is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys and home décor to books and magazines, foods and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art. DCP business is comprised of three business units namely Licensing, Publishing and Disney Store. DCP collates the data from multiple source systems that has product, contract, Licensee, Royalty, revenue and forecast details and provides the Business Intelligence environment for business users.

Project Objective

CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) is an application that holds the data related to contract. CLM Enhancement is a project to close all the backlog tickets that were created in Selectica Reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in requirement analysis, Design, Development, Unit Testing, System Integration testing, User Acceptance testing and for Production Set up.

Project Description:

Disney UK is specifically the Disney ABC Television unit within Disney EMEA, that manages the play out of over 40 traditional (linear) television channels across EMEA, as well as managing the content that is made available through new Non-Linear providers, such as iTunes, Netflix, etc. (Non-Linear is a common way of referring to non-traditional TV distribution, but is not the only term).

Disney intends to implement a single instance of channel management system (Integrated Broadcast Management System from Pilat) from their existing Harris Vision system in order to support their European broadcasting operations (spanning 6 territories). This is to support their EMEA broadcast operations by reducing cost and increasing functionality with the addition of new non-linear functionality in IBMS. EIM practise is responsible for the data migration from Disney’s existing CMS (Channel Management System) into the new IBMS system.

Responsibility:

Prepared High-Level Design documents based on the Business Requirements

Involved in the Project Design, Development, Unit Testing, System Integration testing, User Acceptance testing and for Production Set up.

Design and development of mappings, sessions and workflows to convert data from different source systems to target application to meet its business rules.

Project Description

There were different HR systems all over the geographies for Pearson and employee data was held at different systems. As a part of TEP (Technology Enabling Programme) all the HR data has to be centralized and held in single Oracle Fusion HCM system. Data from SAP-UK system is migrated as a part of this.

Project Objective

There were various geographies and systems where the data for HR is held. This is for UK and the system migrated was SAP HR system. Since the HCM Fusion is cloud based all the data from different geographies were held in single clod system.

Data from various systems were migrated as phases where they were called as Wave of data. SAP-UK is Wave1 data. There were also other interfaces connected to the Fusion system for various other functionalities.
