CFD Analysis of Centrifugal Pump Impeller Jan 2018 - Apr 2018

A centrifugal pump impeller was modeled to design specification; parametric study was carried out to investigate the effect of Temperature of working fluid, Optimum Blade number and Outlet diameter of impeller. Results were simulated using Ansys-CFX and validated with an error percentage of 14.96%.

Cost Analysis Between VAWT and HAWT for Household Usage Aug 2017 - Dec 2017

This project investigates the cost analysis between Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) & Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for Household use in Hammond, Indiana. Results indicate a savings ranging from $9-$14 in monthly electric bills when invested a capital of $1500.

Material Selection Process for the Sail boats and its mast component was achieved by FMEA to study materials used since its inception. Specific Modulus and Specific Strength of the material are important in considering working conditions. Results were plotted using CES Edu pack 2017 software.

Optimization of Exhaust System Jan 2017 - Apr 2017

Scientific literatures on design of exhaust manifold, catalytic converters and mufflers was studied and a 2D CFD simulation exhaust gases was compiled. The substrate geometry was designed to reduce “Back pressure” by 5% and the simulation results of catalytic convertor turned in favor of superior design.
