As Plant Manager, my duties included full responsibility, including P & L, of 80,000 sq. ft. steel service center with three steel slitting and packaging lines. Successfully managing on-site quality and safety programs. Incorporated lean practices to achieve budgetary and performance goals. Our team was responsible for implementing best practices (TPM, Lean, 5S) that enabled a revenue swing of $1.5M to achieve nearly $0.8M gross profit in 2017. I have experience with continuous improvement methodology, and I am a proven leader, team member, and collaborator.

As Production Scheduler, at the company’s toll flat-rolled steel pickling facility, production grew 20% to 33k tons/month by employing best methods practices.
As Pickle Line Operator, my shift set many equipment productivity records and out produced other shifts by 100 tons/shift. Resulting in continual promotion, serving in more challenging positions.
As Production Supervisor, our team’s mission was to continually improve productivity and slit edge quality. These efforts resulted in a 40% reduction in reprocessed coils, thereby reducing operational costs.
As Production Manager, I continually strived to improve the facilities quality and operational performance. The team’s efforts were rewarded when our company was awarded an additional 30k tons/month toll pickling and slitting business, allowing the company to open a second facility to service the newly acquired business.
