Q.C. inspector

Visually inspecting raw parts before sending them to debind to extract wax and clean parts from any other contamination. Run and maintain sintering ovens daily. Inspecting sintered part for visual defects by using optical tools, microscope and visual comparator. Using go-no go gages to verify that gapes are in spec that blueprints are indicating to be correct. Filling out work orders and work sheets correctly.

Q.C. operator

Doing a first article and hourly inspection on measured molded parts. Recording, measuring and creating reports on measured parts throughout a 12 hour shift and logging it into computer and log report. Creating a spc charts required by customer and their specifications. Measuring parts using SEEBREZ cmm, comparator, video edge machine, air testing equipment, gages and calipers. I was inspecting parts for dimensions, radius, angles and height . Defects like warps, blocked holes, air leaks, sinks, contamination and shorts. Other responsibilities were inventoried new materials, verifying right work order, materials and colorants are used in molding machines(BOM). Passing information to co-workers on other shifts.

Mechanical assembler

My position required high knowledge of tools and torque wrenches to be able to perform my job. I was required to know how to read blueprints and to be able to solve problems by myself without any help from higher ups. Before assembling a unit my job was to inspect the welds, paint and other defects that would make a unit fail specs. Build highly sensitive parts to the specs and build instructions to prevent leaks and other defects.

Dietrich standards -QC INSPECTOR

I was entrusted to inspect carbon steel and stainless steel pipe welds visually and with weld gages if they are in spec with work instructions. I was also checking welds for sign of contamination and pin holes. Sending weld pipes to die pen station to be tested for leaks and cracks. I was checking for discontinuities which have to be evaluated with reference to the imposed limits for acceptance. Preparing a heat certification and all other information that customer asked and demanded to be accompanied with product. Entering the data into welder spread sheet and Oracle. Extensive use of calipers and micrometers to measure radius and pipe wall of down and upstream pipes.. Check if the Ph level is in tolerance for sonic clean. Clean pipes from any contaminants that would cause an explosion in the field of use dry them and inspect it under black light.
