My goal is to find a position that is both fulfilling and clinically stimulating. I bring years of experience in a variety of areas. I started my career as an ICU nurse progressing to head nurse. I gained experience as a dialysis nurse, worked with a variety of Family Practice and Internal Med physicians. I also owned my own independent practice for 14 years and I currently work as a FNP in Occupational Medicine.

Primary Care Practice-owner, Auburn, Ca. 2011 to 2013

Approx. 20 patients per day, primary care, acute and chronic, case management, patient education stressing wellness, referrals as indicated, responsible for the clinic administration.

Physicians Weight Clinic 2009 to present

Very busy weight loss clinic for which I assess and treat patients. I have worked there since 2009 on a per diem basis only. They are friends.

Moved my practice to Auburn as the facility I was renting from nearly tripled the rent. Same responsibilities as noted above.
