North American Manufacturing EHS Manager/ OKC Site Manager

Sustained the overall I&I rate through a systematic approach to case management and engagement of EE's in various safety related programs for Artificial Lift OKC site.

Initiated a proactive program titled “Do you see What I see” to increase awareness and engage EE's also started Cross Audit Teams, to assist in identifying and reducing potential hazards.

Exceeding customer expectations by leading Business/ EHS site review to develop strategies in closing Action Tracking System, Concern reports and any other pertinent site EHS issues.

Reached and supported other business units such as Aviation during preparation for a VPP recertification audit, shipped HAZMAT, and participated in a 3rd party audit for O&G site.

Conducted awareness fair to improve EE's knowledge of VPP culture. On-boarded second McAllen site into the VPP site certification program.

Worked with TCEQ Air department to obtain a revised air permit to allow for new site growth which increased production by over 25% and over 8 million in new machinery.

EHS - Security Site Focal Point

Implemented and managed all EHS policies, procedures and programs to ensure regulatory compliance. Handled EHS issues at a site with landlord (LAWA-ONT) reporting relationships. Maintain expert knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.

Ensured effective EHS education programs are in place.

Returned property to LA-X. 1 year no OSHA recordables during closure operations. Site was returned on time ahead of expected schedule and under estimated closure budget goals. 2.25 years and over 1,000,000 hours no lost time cases.

Assessed production needs and implemented sound business practices that minimized the total amount of monthly hazardous waste by 70.0 % and by 52.8 % cost reduction per month.

Maintained records and reports for following permits Title V, NESHAP, and wastewater treatment discharge.

Assisted in the planning and design of a new 200,000 sq. ft plant.
