Developed and delivered internal communications strategies and assets for 700+ Core Operations business and IT resources, consultants and stakeholders for Cigna’s largest to-date enterprise initiative. In less than two years, program resources felt connected and invested in the program, which directly elevated Cigna’s market position. Multi-channel communications deliverables included a communications roadmap, town hall presentations, senior leader communications, stakeholder communications, learning series materials, onboarding presentations, and an engagement poster campaign. Highly successful change communications helped to elevate the program’s status among executives, who took part in the popular poster campaign.

Implemented internal and external communications strategies at this $500 million regional medical professional liability and business insurance firm. Produced marketing assets and two annual reports, launched and produced live and on-demand broadcast CME tools for physicians, saving them valuable time and adding convenience for learning options. Supported sales team with trade show materials and events production. Media relations for trade and business outlets, secured a two-page spread feature of the company’s CEO in a leading industry publication. Ghostwrote editorial for industry publications. Produced audio podcasts on topical medical issues for the 6,000 physician company members.

Responsible for building up a more formal strategy for internal communications with updated assets for some 30,000 store employees and support personnel. Developed a change communications plan for an enterprise POS rollout program that helped employees overcome their resistance to technological advances. Managed a staff of four to produce print and broadcast assets, events and training materials. Produced a quarterly news magazine video for store managers, pharmacists and field personnel. Supported executives with ghostwritten articles and speeches. Won resounding praise from store clerks to senior executives for communications that informed and engaged them during a significant period

of change. Both FTE and consultant at CVS during this time.
