Eye Care of San Diego: Bokosky John E MD San Diego, California Assist several surgeons with care and expedient decision making in an Operating Room during surgical cases. Perform aseptic techniques as required.

Prepare the Operating Room in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, supplies and equipment. Successfully manage and maintain inventory of all ASC supplies and equipment including: Microscopes, Phaco machine, Steam Autoclave, etc.

Manage installment and operations of equipment needed for the ASC and OR. Maintain strong, personal relationships with our Surgical Reps for any assistance needed by them. Sterilize and clean all instrumentation for entire surgical center, ophthalmic clinic and plastic surgery clinic. Assist with patient care in pre and post operative care as needed. Turn-over Operating Room between every case.

Terminal Cleaning of the Operating Room.

Assist with medical office procedures and administrative paperwork including, typing Operative Reports for every surgical case one surgeon performs both at our facility and for any other facility he operates in. Assist with successful passing of AAAHC by providing any documentation needed to help with RN Supervisor. Sufficiently train/precept for new surgical staff. Maintained current knowledge of developments in technical instrumentation. Ordered supplies, obtained pricing and quotes, prepared purchase requests and maintained an organized expense log for entire ASC and Operating Room.
