EXPERIENCE
Wisconsin Institute for Quantum Information May 2016 - Present Department of Physics, University of Wisconsin - Madison Madison, WI
Research Assistant
Created a new technique for and measuring spatial & temporal noise correlations in multiqubit devices. Utilized MATLAB & high-throughput computing to simulate this technique and interpreted results for experimental colleagues, leading to one of the rst correlated noise measurements in the eld.
Developed and prototyped group-theoretical methods of measurement-free fault tolerant Quan- tum Error Correction. To demonstrate the e ectiveness of this scheme we modeled a stochas- tic noise environment using Python & MATLAB and compared the results to well-known methods.
Produced analytic results on the nature of electromagnetic noise in small electronics to es- timate the e ect of this noise on modern qubit devices. Carried out full simulation using Python to verify the analytic results, compare with published experimental results, and pro- vide guidance for experimental colleagues.

Academic Tutor
Tutored high school students in various math & science subjects from introductory to AP level material. Regularly communicate with parents to keep track of student progress towards established goals.
Developed software to aggregate student data from various commercial databases toward statistical and ML analyses to provide guidance on business decisions. CMS Group May 2015 - May 2016
Department of Physics, University of Wisconsin - Madison Madison, WI
Research Assistant
Developed software in C++ and Python to perform statistical analysis to retain only high- interest data acquired from CMS experiment at CERN.
Worked closely with an international team based in Geneva, Switzerland, providing my own original contribution to the analysis and ensuring that this work t in with the aims of the collaboration.
Wah Group June 2013 - June 2014
Department of Physics, University of Chicago
Chicago, IL
Research Assistant
Improved and debugged data acquisition FPGAs for J-PARC E14 experiment to do sensitive measurements investigating discrete symmetries in the Standard Model of particle physics.
Undergraduate thesis work on developing zero-supression software in Python and C++ for cleaning & reducing data throughput. This lead to an overall reduction in raw data by a factor of 15.
