As an operations engineer on the Hallmark campus my daily duties were diverse, and ever changing. I was called upon to perform electrical, plumbing, masonry, boiler and pump valve checks and repairs. I as well was required to document and record all input of daily charges, so as to keep shift change flowing. I was also in the public eye, so hospitality and professional performance was a top priority.

Working for Fox was a great learning experience. I was able to use my attention to detail learned on the residential level of the tile industry on a commercial level. I worked at universities across the Midwest, the Cerner campus, Quicktrip, as well as just about every Mcdonald's along the way. I was a lead tile craftsman, specializing in, but not limited to home remodeling and repair of tiled areas. I became highly skilled at setting tile and a variety of natural stone, be that a tub surround, a backsplash, or any other area...I excelled in all aspects. I also honed the craft of fabricating custom mortar bed shower pans and glass block windows and walls. I was also responsible for plumbing, framing, and sheetrock required in project areas. This included the responsibilities cleaning, painting, and event set up and tear down. I was also called upon to help in organizing community and community center functions as well. In addition, I was responsible for the front desk, the set up and close down of all the community centers daily transactions then report them to the bank.

I have participated in many various workshops and training sessions or classes in the past 10+ years. I have done this voluntary to further my knowledge in the particular field I was in at that time. These workshops or classes ranged from appliance maintenance to customer service and on into the more technical areas of tile and stone setting materials and product maintenance.
